On **21 July 2026**, RHSTEP’s **Aparajeyo Tarunno (UYP – Unlocking Youth Potential)** project organized an important event in **Gaibandha** titled **“Ensuring Active Participation of Marginalized Communities in Health and SRHR Discussions and Activities – 02.”**

The event brought together participants for an open and inclusive discussion on **health, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), equality, social inclusion, and the rights and meaningful participation of marginalized communities**.

Through a range of participatory activities, participants shared their personal experiences, perspectives and challenges related to health and SRHR. The discussions also provided an opportunity to identify potential solutions and explore ways to strengthen the participation of marginalized communities in health-related decision-making and activities.

The primary objective of the initiative was to **strengthen the voices of marginalized communities, increase awareness of health and SRHR services and rights, and promote meaningful participation in building a more equitable and inclusive society**.

The active engagement of participants, guests and relevant stakeholders made the event meaningful and contributed to the successful implementation of the activity under RHSTEP’s UYP project.

Through such community-based initiatives, **RHSTEP’s Aparajeyo Tarunno (UYP)** continues to promote inclusive participation, strengthen awareness of SRHR and support the empowerment of marginalized communities.
