On **20 July 2026**, RHSTEP’s **Unlocking Youth Potential (UYP) Khulna Centre** organized an interactive session titled **“Disability-Inclusive Health Initiatives–02”** to promote health awareness, confidence and social inclusion among persons with disabilities.

A total of **20 participants**, including persons with physical disabilities and partial visual impairments, attended the session. The discussions covered a range of important topics, including **mental health, confidence building, nutrition, healthy living, memory improvement and available government services**.

The session was facilitated by **Md. Tarikul Islam**, Fund Raising Coordinator, **National Society of Blind and Sighted People (NSBP), Khulna**. **Manab Raman Bachar**, Social Services Officer, **Urban Social Services Office-3, Khulna**, attended the event as a special guest.

Participants actively engaged in a variety of interactive activities, including **games, group work, problem-solving discussions and presentation competitions**. During the open question-and-answer session, participants also received important information about existing government services, support systems and opportunities available for persons with disabilities.

The participatory approach helped participants strengthen their **knowledge, self-confidence, communication skills and spirit of mutual cooperation**. The session also provided a supportive platform for participants to share experiences, interact with one another and learn about resources that can contribute to their well-being and empowerment.

Through initiatives such as this, **RHSTEP’s Aparajeyo Tarunno (UYP)** continues to promote disability inclusion and meaningful participation while supporting the empowerment of persons with disabilities through accessible, participatory and community-focused activities.
