On Saturday, 18 April 2026, Aparajeyo Tarunno organized a school-based awareness program at Basila High School in Mohammadpur, Dhaka. The main theme of the session was “Digital Addiction: Health Risks and Remedies for Adolescents.”

Through interactive discussions with students, the program highlighted the harmful effects of excessive dependence on digital devices, along with practical ways to prevent digital addiction, improve time management, and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

The session also explored the scientific impact of excessive digital usage on the brain, explaining how abnormal dopamine stimulation and increased cortisol levels can contribute to mental stress, anxiety, and other psychological challenges among adolescents.

The session management and creative activities were jointly conducted by Senior Program Officer Akhtanin Khayer Tanin, Project Officers Hojayfa Sakwan, Tanzina Sultana, and Zubaida Anjum Saba, along with Content Writer Nayan Chakraborty, Trainer Ahadul Siraj, and Youth Advocates Robiul Islam Dihan and Skya Islam.

The program successfully created awareness among students regarding responsible digital usage, mental well-being, and the importance of balanced and healthy daily habits.
