With the slogan “আলোকিত হই কৈশোরে, বিকশিত হই নিরাপদ আগামীর বুকে; আমরা নেতৃত্ব দিই স্বাস্থ্যবান ও সমৃদ্ধ জাতি গঠনের পথে” (Let us be enlightened in adolescence and grow into a safe future; we lead the way toward a healthy and prosperous nation), Aparajeyo Tarunno Rangpur Branch organized “School Awareness Program - 01” on 22 April 2026 at 10:30 AM at Fatepur High School.

The program covered a wide range of important adolescent development topics, including physical and mental changes and challenges during puberty, mental health and well-being, child marriage, violence against children, friend selection, digital safety and support during adolescence, and climate change-related health risks.

Special sessions on adolescent physical and mental changes, challenges, and cervical cancer awareness were conducted by Khandakar Farzana Zaman, FWV, Mother and Child Welfare Center (MCWC), Rangpur. Sessions on child marriage prevention, friend selection, and digital safety were facilitated by Mentor Anika Taskin. Topics on mental health and climate-related health risks were conducted by Project Officer Animesh Roy.

As part of the program, an awareness animation and a drama session were presented to engage students in an interactive learning environment. Later, a traditional “hari bhanga” game was organized with student participation, and winners were awarded attractive prizes.

At the end of the program, sanitary napkins and environment-friendly plants were distributed among students to promote health awareness and environmental responsibility.

The program was chaired by Project Officer Animesh Roy of Aparajeyo Tarunno Rangpur Branch and conducted by Youth Officer Swarnali Acharya.
