With the slogan “সচেতন তারুণ্যই গড়ে তোলে সমতা, স্বাস্থ্য ও টেকসই ভবিষ্যৎ” (Aware Youth Build Equality, Health, and a Sustainable Future), Aparajeyo Tarunno Rajshahi Unit organized “School Awareness Program - 01” on 23 April 2026 at Alor Pathshala located in the Talaimari Shaheed Minar area of Rajshahi.

The program featured discussions on several important and timely issues relevant to adolescents and youth. Key discussion topics included Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and mental health, human rights and the role of youth, climate change and environmental awareness, leadership development, self-confidence, and teamwork.

The event began with an interactive ice-breaking session that helped create a comfortable environment, encouraged participation, and strengthened communication among the students.

Youth Officer Md. Faridul Islam of Aparajeyo Tarunno Rajshahi conducted sessions on human rights, the role of youth, climate change, and environmental awareness, highlighting the importance of active youth participation in building a responsible and sustainable society.

Project Officer Dipti Sarkar conducted the session on SRHR and mental health, where she discussed physical and mental changes during adolescence as well as the importance of nutritious food and healthy practices for adolescents.

Mentor Sanzida Akter led discussions on child marriage prevention and menstrual hygiene management, while Mentor Nurul Islam facilitated an engaging session on leadership development, self-confidence building, and the importance of teamwork through participatory activities.

Later, refreshments and courtesy gifts were distributed among the participants. An open discussion and question-answer session was also organized, where students actively shared their opinions, concerns, and experiences.

The program was chaired by Project Officer Dipti Sarkar and conducted by Youth Officer Md. Faridul Islam.

Overall, the awareness program played an important role in increasing awareness among students, promoting positive attitudes, and strengthening their sense of social responsibility and leadership capacity.
