Our History

A journey of commitment to reproductive health and education since 1983

1983

The Government of Bangladesh formally established the Menstrual Regulation Training and Services Program (MRTSP) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW).

1989

MRTSP was transformed into a non-government organization to expand operational flexibility and outreach.

2002

Responding to growing reproductive healthcare needs, MRTSP expanded multifaceted services and adopted the name Reproductive Health Services Training and Education Program (RHSTEP).

Our Commitment

RHSTEP is registered under Social Welfare Registration Act, 1961 and NGO Affairs Bureau of Bangladesh. It is also approved by the Directorate of Family Planning for delivering family planning services.

RHSTEP operates 21 public hospitals, a clinic in Gaibandha and a maternity clinic in Dhaka, ensuring quality SRH services and youth development programs nationwide.
